Who runs this site

This site is run by Haunted Space Hotel Studios, the registered fictitious business name of Fossa Tracks, Inc., a California corporation, on behalf of the author. The same studio runs hauntedspacehotel.com, and its privacy policy is the full version of this page.

This site

A set of static pages served by Cloudflare. We count visits: when a page is served, our server notes which page it was, the website that linked to it (its name, not the full address), the country Cloudflare reports, the name of the network it came through (your internet provider, say, or a cloud host), whether it looks like a crawler, and the time. It does not record your IP address or anything that identifies you or ties one visit to the next, it runs nothing in your browser, and it sets no cookie. No advertising, no analytics product, no tracking pixel, no third-party script, no font served from anyone else's server. We set no cookies. Cloudflare keeps ordinary server logs as our host, under its own policy.

The signup

If you put your email address in the form, it is sent to the studio's site and stored there, in our own storage at Cloudflare, with: the address; the fact that you asked about this book; a label saying the form was on this site; the date; and the two-letter country code Cloudflare attaches to the request, so we can guess your timezone. We do not store your IP address with the record.

If you use the early-readers form instead, the label says so, and we write back to you ourselves about a reading copy; nothing else changes.

We use it to tell you when the book is available. We do not sell it, rent it, share it, or hand it to a mailing platform. When you sign up, one short note is sent to us so we know the list grew; it goes to nobody else.

Getting off the list takes one email. Reply to anything we send, or write to support@hauntedspacehotel.com, and we delete the record. Ask what we hold and we send it to you.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email us, and a person will answer within a few days.
